King Keon is a talented, up and coming Hip-Hop artist from the dynamic neighborhoods of Jersey City, New Jersey. A young man who is fulfilling his destiny, he has had considerable trials and tribulations in his life. Standing by the saying, “Music is art imitating life,” this artist pours his honest and earnest soul into his art. His unique voice, melodic cadence, deft rhymes and strong delivery sets him apart from the current overcrowded Hip-Hop world. For King, this path started as a curious child. As a kid growing up on the East Coast just across the river from New York City, Hip-Hop was a large part of his culture. The thing that set him apart from his peers was that he had music in his blood because his father was a artist himself and his grandfather was a singer. As a child, Keon spent most of his time at the studio with his father while he was cutting records. Ironically, even with all that music in his world, young Keon was fully dedicated to sports like boxing and football. His dreams of being a professional athlete were coming to fruition when he got a full-ride to Delaware State University to play Division I Football. Still taking inspiration from his artistic father, Keon always said to himself, “I would love to make music if I had the time”. Low and behold, his wish came true. During his freshman year at Delaware State, Keon was expelled for his involvement in a physical altercation defending a trusted friend. With higher education and a career in sports ripped out of his hands, Keon knew it was time. He started working on developing some of the rhymes he wrote when he was bored at school and crafted some compelling songs. After spending a year perfecting his craft while suspended, King returned to school and secured his Bachelors Degree in sports management. King Keon is making his mark on the scene by independently releasing music on the label that he founded with the backing of his father, And manager James "Pookie" Gist; known as K.O.K. (King Of Kings) Records.

b the big dawg
B the BIG DAWG (formerly known as LIL B) is an artist/C.E.O. of his own independent record label (Hard Head 4Life Ent., LLC). Born on the near eastside of Indianapolis, Indiana, he was raised by his wonderful mom in a poverty-stricken neighborhood called "Brookside," where drug dealing, murder and prostitution were normal. B used those negative factors as motivation to be a positive role model for his younger brother and sister. By the tender age of 13, he was the man of the house, often helping his mother pay the rent and other bills. His passion for music began at the age of 15 when he released his 1st CD, "Thug Brothaz," with a group of friends from the neighborhood. His first official album, "Grind B4U $hine," was released independently in 2006 and was an instant classic not just in Naptown, but throughout the Midwest. It was followed by "Tha Ghetto Been Good 2 Me," "Not A Play Thang" with the Bizness Boyz and "4 Trappers Not Rappers" with Man Man Marley. In 2014, he won The People's Choice Award from the Indy Urban Music Awards (The Peoples Champ!). Along with back to back XXL Magazine features, tons of radio play and new videos circulating, his latest project, "Yung.Ghetto.$tar," has major labels constantly calling his great management team about a record deal. However, he still chooses to remain independent and be his own boss. If you're looking for high quality street music from an artist with undisputed street cred, you got it here with Indiana's own "B the BIG DAWG"!

WHO IS LXXS???
Within the start of the first quarter, which began in the 2nd quarter of last year - we began to put in the work ethic of artist development, and along with the blood, the sweat and some little tears, we have been able to chisel out a magnificent sound that contributes to a team destined for success!
LXXS, or otherwise known by some as, "LXXS the Artist," is a very sweet and poised young lady from Ohio, who has been put in a very challenging position to represent a new sound in music that will captivate the hip hop and R&B audience, thus bringing forth that new taste of music within the core of this "new wave" sound that appears to be surfacing along the lines of R&B music today.
I don't say this because our label represents her… I say this because R&B appears to be taking on a new approach with bringing in or intertwining the 90s brand of R&B into the 21st century sound of music.
LXXS, we believe, has taken on the weight of representing such a brand, thereby becoming the trailblazer of this new music sound, creating a trend-setting approach with her solid list of songs! Her first pre-release single: "Superwoman", produced by Larry 'Rock Campbell, former Director of A&R of the now defunct Jive Records, represents that bold, strong, and confident woman who has overcome the trials and tribulations of being put in situations most women can't seem to get out of. LXXS lyrics present the attitude of overcoming those obstacles by the empowerment of self. There are major parts in this song that brings explosion to her attitude in these lyrics - which brings to life a whole new position of woman empowerment - of total feeling of independence, not just from an emotional point of view, but from being in total control of her life - true empowerment!
There is a lot of mystery in this young lady, for one, being only eighteen (18) years of age, she expresses a lot of real adult situations in her songs, which should only come from the experience of someone who could have only gone through the things she expresses in her lyrics at a much older age. LXXS new single will soon hit the digital store markets March 22nd and will be hitting the radio airways soon thereafter. To enjoy the experience of this powerful single and to get to feel her expression of women empowerment, click onto her single by clicking on Soundcloud.

new heat alert #nowplaying @atlwebradio it's @Marenikae with her smash hit singles #remember and #smoothoperator #tunein #westafricanqueen
With a name as iconic as the culture she represents, MARENIKAE is the embodiment of West African pride and culture, fused with the glamour and sophistication of old Hollywood. The statuesque Nigerian singer/songwriter is beyond multi-talented with current projects ranging from music, to art to fashion. When asked how she manages to juggle multiple pursuits she suggests never being told she was limited.
MARENIKAE grew up in Nigeria and recalls writing songs and poetry as early as age fourteen. Her approach to songwriting stemmed from a fascination with spoken word and attending numerous poetry and writing workshops. MARENIKAE credits listening to great orators as the key to perfecting her songwriting skills. She discovered the melodic timing in spoken word resembled her natural writing style and translated to the melodies she discovered in song.
Growing up MARENIKAE was exposed to various types of music and cites a myriad of artists as influences; from Nigerian artists like 9ice, styl-plus, Dare Art-Alade,fela and plantashun boys all the way to the Backstreet Boys, Freddie Mercury, Daughtry, Dwele and Raheem Devaughn. Throughout her teen years she worked to create a signature sound relying heavily on neo-soul and afro-pop music..The end result is AFROMERGE a perfect blend of her beloved Nigerian Rhythms and neo soul with electronic and AC nuances throughout laced with a whole lot of attitude.
In an effort to distribute her own music and to assist other artists like herself, MARENIKAE founded “The Zuchia Nexus” an independent label geared towards becoming a meeting place for international producers, songwriters and artists to support each other while exchanging ideas and cross promoting.
As if being the flagship artist on her own label wasn’t enough, MARENIKAE also started a fashion line entitled, MAKAN GID’N. The urban line focuses on luxe
African wear with an urban twist. Much like its founder, MAKAN GID’N is a blend of West African culture meshed with urban streetwear. For MARENIKAE, MAKAN GID’N was her way of creating memorable costuming for her performances. The line represented her music perfectly and allowed her to create an atmosphere that would entertain and educate fans about her native homeland.
Today MARENIKAE is planning for the release of her debut album, titled AJEBUTTER (worthy of its own Afro-womanist socio-political conversation). She plans to return home to Nigeria for an additional press tour for the album. She is looking to increase her fan base and find additional opportunities for “The Zuchia Nexus”. After debuting her MAKAN GID’N fall line in 2016 Ragtrade Atlanta, MARENIKAE is looking forward to introducing fashionistas across the country to a line that connects her heartland with the homeland.

shake a vel
I decided to look out and fix your bio, it was a good bio the only problem was you spoke from first person basically telling the story yourself and I switched it to third person use this one instead
Shake-A-Vel a.k.a. Green Hornet was born and raised in Brooklyn (Bedstuy). The only thing that was bad was he grew up very poor and it led him to a life of crime at a very young age. He got the name Shake from playing basketball back in the days and he use to put shows on the court. He represent N.A. Rock, which stands for Nostrand Ave. From Fulton Street and Nostrand Avenue up to Lafayette Avenue across to Tompkins Avenue which was called Dodge City back in the day.
He got the name Green Hornet from staying on his grind when it came to hustling. In 1997, he really started taking rap serious as far as becoming a rapper. He studied the art of writing in the back room of his apartment in Tompkins projects (NYC Housing Development). He practiced his writing skills for years as if he had been possessed by it. It took at least five years just to master his style of how to flow over beats and not miss a note. His whole thing was to be sharp like he was in basketball. He wanted to be the best at what I did. Still deep into the lifestyle he was forced to live, he eventually became a product of that environment.
He kept his head up high and refused to be a failure. Now he was on point with every move he made and he had one problem, an open court case (drug possession). While out on bail, he fought the charges for a minute but decided in order to move forward, he had to deal with the consequences of past choices. The lowest offer was 3 to 6 years upstate in which he was a predicate felon with a history of crime. He decided to cop out and do his bid upstate to get his mind right. His main focus was to be successful when he came home. Shake-A Vel's #1 producer is Buddha Monk who kept it real and wrote him while he was up north. He said “Yo Horn (Green Hornet); I got you when you touch down.”
He did three years upstate and then it was on and he became more focused In January 2003 he paroled out and went straight to the studio with Buddha---we put it down real heavy just as planned. Soon after, hisstarted my record company, Dri Lann Entertainment with the help from his family. His EP featuring song titled “No Fear”, dropped to set off his album that’s coming soon, “Bring It Home” by Shake-A-Vel/O.P.N. Fast forwarding to 2013, he dropped a mixtape called, “TAKE IT IN BLOOD” on Coast 2 Coast mix tapes that had 2,166,000 downloads, plays, and views. He then followed up with a slew of singles. In 2016, he dropped the “THROW DAT MONEY SEASON EP”. In 2017, he dropped the “SCALE EP” and the video on WORLD STAR HIP HOP with over 1,000,000 views. He is also featured on 2 DOPE BOYZ & INFLEX WE TRUST.
With his new release out now “Scale Universe”, Shake-A-Vel is rising through the hip-hop ranks. Setting the streets on fire with his hit “Throw Dat Money”, now he follows up with his new single “Chris Paul”.
With the NBA playoffs poppin now and the Rockets having a chance to get to a finals berth and Chris Paul being one of the stars, here is the anthem!

The intelligent and talented rapper and song writer Jywaun Williams was born and raised in the small town of York South Carolina where he began the start of what the game is now missing. Growing up Jywaun was raised mostly in a single parent home as a child. Like many young kids that grow up in single parent homes a lot comes with that; a lot of hardships and struggles. With no father figure present he looked up to his mother for guidance and life lessons. Jywaun was a very talented athlete, involved in sports from football to basketball and everything in between. However, this wasn’t the route the young and talented Waun wanted to take. At age 13 Jywaun became rebellious like many teenagers do and got involved with the wrong crowd. From then on things didn’t come as easy for the talented young man. He attended an institute where he played basketball with the some of the best and could even eventually make it out himself if he tried. But Jywaun had something else on his mind. Although he always had a passion for his music he put music aside and focused in on other not so good things. Unfortunately, the school scene there didn’t excite the young talente artist either. Slowly but surely the school idea drifted away and he ended up quitting at age 16. He decided that he would then try to pursue his rap career. Not knowing where this would lead him Jywaun continued to go down the wrong path and getting acquainted with the wrong crowds. He was a troubled teen that needed guidance and searched in all the wrong directions for it. Shortly after the birth of his first child, Jywaun was charged with multiple charges and faced a number of years in prison. Fortunately he beat his trial and was set a free man however several years later Jywaun found himself back in the same situation facing 15 years but this time with the Feds. Jywaun was fortunate to have good counsel and received 3 years in Federal Prison. Jywaun spent his days in prison writing music. He made a promise to himself that once he escape that hell hole of a life he had been living for years he would never return. Jywaun’s everyday life was a pen and his pad that never left his sight while locked up. When Jywaun was told his release date he got on his knees and thanked God and made a promise he would never return back to the streets. Jywaun admits once he returned home he realized the streets was all he knew but he also knew that his love and passion for music would take him straight to the top if he focused solely on his music. Jywaun’s confidence is so strong that he knows every time he put his pen to a pad it will be a BIG HIT SONG! Jywaun says this is it for him. He has no more time to waste. Jywaun says he has giving the streets so many of his good years the rest of his life is for the love of his music and he wants to share it with the world. Jywaun is now the CEO of Jy Productions.

#NEWMUSICALERT #HEATSEEKER by @CYRUSSMITHMUSIC titled #BAGZ #NOWPLAYING #EXCLUSIVELY @ATLWEBRADIO #tuneinorbetunedout #hotnewhiphop
Multi-talented may not be a special enough word to describe, Cyrus “Cy-Fi” Smith. The youngest of three siblings, Cyrus knows how to make a statement on the football field and now he is poIsed to make a statement in the music industry. At the age of 11, his family moved from Los Angeles, California to Duluth, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta, where he made his position as a running back look easy. Throughout middle school, Cyrus continued to work hard, show up and show out at every game! Two years in a row, he was selected to participate in the Diamond Youth All-American Bowl. This event brought together young phenom players aged 13 to 17 from around the country to participate in week long activities, which culminated in championship games. Cyrus was able to gain the respect of his fellow players and his coaches because of his love of the game and his “let’s do it” attitude. Even though Cyrus suffered a knee injury in his last appearance in the All-American Bowl, he prevailed with the support of his family. Cyrus worked hard with his trainers and doctors to come back and burn up the field. During his Freshman year of football at North Gwinnett High School, Cyrus scored an average of 2 touchdowns and ran for more than 100 yards each game. Cyrus had his first glimpse at what he could accomplish in the music world, when he teamed up with his brother and sister to record the song, “Shoes.” Cyrus added the flavor and youthful appeal to the song with his baritone voice and handsome dimples. Now at age 16, Cyrus has his eye on conquering the music world and he has something to say. His producers have positively commented on his work ethic and his willingness to learn. His music is edgy with clean vocals, which means his age demographic will surely be able to catch his vibe, but having a little swagger built in can’t hurt either. Whether it’s football or music, it doesn’t matter because this multi-talented young man has the chops that it takes to make success happen.

Both hard lyrical street anthems are just a bit of his versatility as song's like "Love" brings the finesse and modern sauce to his new recipe of songs on the 2nd quarter slated mixtape entitled "From the Ashes". Mike Paul surely has arose from the ashes musically and in life as he has seen war First Hand serving our country overseas in Afghanistan returning to U.S. as a wartime vet. Overcoming many struggles, he has garnered enough economic support to also give back to the community via charity, so you will not only hear but feel these heartfelt stories of this soldier's journey
FROM THE ASHES.
