Madina wrote, recorded and produced four original songs for the film, which would eventually be featured on her debut album of the same name. l.y.r.i.c.s.James Long (Born on 1/22) better known by his stage name, Lyrics, is an American rapper who grew up in the suburbs of Edison, NJ. Older brother to famed R&B Singer "Pamela Long" from Bad Boy Entertainment Legendary female group "Total". Lyrics began writing rhymes at the young age of 12. By the age of 14 he was performing at different talent shows throughout New Jersey & started recording music. At the young age of 17 he was a local celebrity and well respected for his wittiness and clever wordplay amongst his peers. Throughout his early years, Lyrics was a part of several unsuccessful rap groups until he teamed up with a 6 man group called "The Union"who were eventually signed by "Platinum Records". As a member of "The Union", the group went on to gain national attention by collaborating with some of hip hops biggest talent at such as the late great Big L, AZ, the late Guru from Gangstarr, Twista, CL Smooth, Cormega, Raekwon the Chef and R&B sensation Total just to name a few. The group also appeared on TV several times. Including B.E.T.’s show Rap City, and Planet Group alongside rap star CL Smooth.
