Check Out New Atlwebradio November 2015 Featured Artist Tyrome Gaddes with the Hit Single Summer Days
Tyrome Gaddes is a Nashville born hip-hop artist, songwriter, producer, and promoter who has been in the music industry for nearly 20 years. Growing up in a family of musicians, Tyrome listened to an eclectic range of music from Kenny Rogers to The Five Heartbeats. He didn’t know much about music except for what he heard; possessing an excellent ear for sound and a natural talent for percussion, Tyrome was able to mimic the music he heard on the vinyl records his uncle would play.
Tyrome and his family relocated to Detroit, Michigan when he was 12 years old; this move would prove to be a pivotal point in his passion for music. His family owned a juke joint which on the weekends would open to showcase new talent within the community. While Tyrome dreamed of being one of the artists on stage, he focused on learning the music business and promoting.
Tyrome never gave up on his dream of becoming a music artist, and at 17 he purchased his first Tascam 8 track recorder, keyboard synthesizer, Sony drum machine and microphone. Tyrome began recording his own projects, singing on hooks and working with other musicians in his community.
In 1998 Tyrome founded SoundProof Records and signed his first artist Michael T. Jordan also known as Big’ems shortly thereafter. Tyrome’s musical profile ranges from NeoSoul, R&B, Gospel, and Country; he is able to work with a variety of artists and develop new sounds. He fully funded his breakout single “Momma Told Me to Get It” which displays his sheer determination to make it; while his new single “Summer Day” takes the listener back to the light-hearted days of youth. Recently, Tyrome began working with BMI as a writer/publisher for Jackpot International Music.
