HYPE PACINO Illest Records’ frontrunner Hype Pacino has created an impressive resume since emerging into the southern rap industry over the last couple of years. Raised in Greene County, North Carolina, he began rapping under a previous name before trademarking the moniker “Hype Pacino,” and later developed a concrete business plan under the guidance of Illest Records. Since then, Hype and his label have quickly built a foundation with consistent power moves, including alliances with some of the most sought-after names in his genre. Having already worked with 2 Chainz, Young Scooter, Young Buck, Tech 9, Young Dolph, Alley Boy, Zaytoven, Drumma Boy and others, Hype Pacino is steadily gaining an audience drawn to his realistic approach. “I’m big on loyalty and honesty,” he says. “I never talk about false things to sound more appealing – as long as you speak the truth, people can relate.” These truths can be heard in the lyrics of his 2014 debut release, “Dis My Hustle,” which gained popularity via outlets like Datpiff and Amazon. Mixtape tracks like “Trap God” and “Nightmares” appeared on Worldstar Hip Hop; and the “I’m Gucci Remix” featuring Tech 9 and Young Buck has been sold or streamed across iTunes, Google Play, Rhapsody, Spotify and more. Following up “Dis My Hustle,” Hype continued his web campaign with the single release “Ion Rock Wit Ya,” which received commercial radio play in the southeast. He also put out the Worldstar video “Simply Amazin.” The collaborations “Money” featuring Young Scooter and Ray Vicks, along with “Dope” featuring Block 125, were standouts on the promotional tape “It’s an Illest Thang Volume 2.” Along with his internet presence, Hype regularly performs live, having opened for Lil Wayne, Young Buck, and several more. He also holds his own events, creating a buzz with release parties and club appearances. “One of my first influences was Master P,” Hype recalls. “The way he took No Limit from the projects and turned it into a hundred million dollar company with his work ethics was amazing.” With this work ethic in mind, he strategically plans each move and always has new material on the way. “Real R & B Muzik” is Hype Pacino’s latest project, set for release in 2015. The tape’s first single “Dope Boi” featuring Young Dolph is already creating anticipation for the finished product. Along with his solo efforts, Hype is also recording music with labelmates to ensure a long-lasting future for Illest Records. “We’re establishing a foundation where me and my team can eat together,” he says enthusiastically. “I want to see everybody win.” Contact: www.hypepacino.com [email protected] 305-923-2194 (Shine) Comments are closed.
