Not a small feat for someone who heard his first hip hop when he was 11 and started rapping when 18.

When a kid from Guyana, raised with reggae music in his ears, moves to Brooklyn at a young age, is bitten by the hip hop bug, and becomes addicted to making their own music, the result is very distinctive.

​J Melo is a upcoming hip hop artist/ song writer  from Compton, Ca started his own Independent record label/ production company Melossworld Ent. ​ALECKS is a Pop-Hop artist based out of the Metro Detroit area in Michigan.
 
Classically trained in operatic performance, ALECKS' roots in music started young; listening to Motown performers such as Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, and the like. 
 
Growing older, ALECKS dived deeper into his love for music and made the decision to dedicate his life to his passion. ​Born Keon Williams, King Keon is the most anticipated recording artist to date hailing from Jersey City, NJ. Before the music, King excelled as both a boxer and football player; earning a full Division I scholarship to play football at Delaware State University. Keon's hard work had been put to a holt once he was arrested and expelled because of an altercation on campus grounds. King later appealed, and was reinstated to DSU where he graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Sport Management and minor in Business. After college, King Keon fully invested in his craft starting with his image. King dropped 125 lbs. (yes, one-hundred and twenty-five pounds) in 5 months all naturally through "discipline and consistency", nothing mere short of the impossible. King then began to create a heavy buzz independently through KOK Records backed by his father (Big Keek) with gems like "Party & O's", "Picture Me", "Holy" and a series of epic freestyles. While getting his project complete and putting together the marketing strategy for his next single, king Decided to compete and WON the NJ Golden Gloves and can call himself Heavyweight Golden Glove Champion of New Jersey. ​VeX ™  is the teenage musician evolving into a next generation artist.
 
In  2016, DJ VeX entered the music scene playing clubs, private events  & music festivals with an EDM focus. Always driven by the beat, he quickly started gravitating towards the hip-hop genre which led him into  beat making & producing music. From Los Angeles, Houston, Austin  and his hometown of Dallas, VeX has been active in the studio fine tuning his craft.  
 
VeX, the producer released his first original song in 2018 & continues to release new singles with his first solo single & video out this January. "Cha Cha" his solo release has over 66K streams and over 10K video views.
 
Fresh  off a trip to the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, VeX was a  part of music's biggest night, attending the awards show, official  Grammy parties, industry meetings and walking the red carpet.

 
The onset of the COVID-19 quarantine inspired the experimental singer/songwriter side of VeX. Tapping into the angst & frustrations of our youth especially in these time of unrest, VeX's high energy in your face music is meant to be a release for his listeners. His songwriting weaves in messages of mental health &  wellness, anti-substance, equality & following your own path. His  social messaging of positivity & being yourself is often in stark contrast to his angsty music.
 
There  are no limits to the complex creative mind of VeX. One thing is for  sure, he’s one to watch & the future is his for the taking.

I  want to be someone who inspires kids & someone they can look up to.  I want my music to be an outlet for them, a release from their daily stress’. I want everyone to feel that they are not alone.
 

​Jimmy Two Shoes AKA Caelan Hakim Crockett is a conscientious and political artist. He implies, “making music is my way of giving back, and showing we aren’t just here for ourselves”, and “be who you are cause that’s all we can do'' in a provocative and entertaining way. Twenty-two year old, San Francisco, California based artist, J2S, coming from San Diego, California, and raised in Warner Robins, Ga, brings San Francisco his moving and honest musical experience. Critics describe him as an extravagant mix of Ice Cube and Drake with Daniel Caesar-esque rifts. He even goes on to say they were some of his major influences that inspires his hip hop/Rnb music. Imbued with lyricism and flow, he articulates real and conventional stories that bring good vibes and energy back to the table. 
 
Currently he’s doing local open mics, and performances on his college campus at San Francisco State University where he studies Cinema, and plans to minor in communications. He puts together live concerts officially named “College Fest” where local upcoming artists showcase their new music in an open-minded underground environment. He plans to host his next festival after quarantine is lifted!

 
Singer, composer and entrepreneur Darrell Kelley was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He’s a performer, singer, songwriter, social activist, spiritual leader, author and entrepreneur. Where injustice prevails Kelley has been known to plunge headlong into the fight to seek justice, understanding, acceptance and unity for one and all. Songs like Believe In Something (Kneel) which took on critics of Colin Kaeperonick for his silent protest during NFL pre-game activities, or Because of You (both released on the Viral Records label) which dealt with the ongoing gun violence epidemic and those responsible for its cause that currently plagues The United States.
 
Beginning his career as a Gospel recording artist Darrell Kelley eventually, seamlessly and successfully made the crossover to the contemporary R&B/Hip-Hop and Mainstream Top 40 radio genre formats. His songs address both secular and non-secular subjects with not only deep insight but often with humor. As a performer, this man can charm any size crowd with his Pied-Piper-like musical magic. As an entrepreneur, Darrell has founded and managed many businesses like the legendary Soul Delicious Grill and Buffet restaurant where bountiful plates of delectably prepared meals are accompanied by the sweet sounds of R&B and Gospel music, as well as his own Viral Records music distribution company. As a spiritual leader and author Bishop Kelley of The Pathway Gospel Ministry Church wrote and published “The Book of UWGEAM”, which is a summary of how through love, unity and respect a better way of life is accessible to all.
 

​Everybody's life has love, hate and pain in it," J'Maurice said. "Making music is my way of dealing with it, growing from it, and moving on." 
 
Born in Kingston, New York, J'Maurice life was changed forever when his parents divorced and he moved to Dallas, Texas with his Father at the young age of 2. But that was the first of many moves, as J'Maurice quickly found himself going from Texas, then to Kansas to live with an Aunt, then back to Texas again. 
 
As a result of his turbulent youth, J'Maurice says this made him turn away from his peers and from his parents to where he found his true talent: rapping.

Since 2000 Bigg Fev has written and arranged a multitude of R&B, Rap, Jazz, Gospel and pop songs. In 2002 Bigg Fev released, “Don’t Go down without a Fight”, a collection of songs that provides a glimpse in the inner cities of the United States. Lyrics and Life was released in 2010. It was a collection of songs about life and life’s lessons. After which, Bigg Fev left the music industry to devote his life to raising his son as a student athlete resulting in with a full ride college scholarship.
 
Currently Bigg Fev is working on a new album and has released his first single,” Make Me Feel Like”.” Make Me Feel Like” is currently being played at thirty Black Colleges and over two hundred DJ’s nationally. The “Make Me Feel Like” video is carried on the AAMP TV worldwide streaming channel in addition to terrestrial television and radio channels across America.
 
Over the years Bigg Fev has been a constant activist in the community. For the past seven years Bigg Fev has volunteered as Santa Clause at the Dru Pearson Center. He is known to go through the community at Thanksgiving and Christmas out passing out dinners to families in need. Bigg Fev also volunteered as a youth football coach and mentor working closely with at risk kids. Needless to say his heart is deeply rooted in the community, which will never change.
Bigg Fev is a humanitarian and a genius beyond measure. He is the epitome of black royalty and music excellence. 

​   Tamara Jackson aka Kween E, from Chicago & currently residing in Atlanta (as she refers to as the juicy peach city)....

A HipHop Artist, Writer, Public Speaker, Clerical Asst, Concept Creator/Builder, Momature (moma figure).... Referred to as Moma Tee in former communities....

      Achievements include:  Authored several books, as well coauthored others, ranging from Urban Fiction, Memoir, and other Freelance topics. Currently working on other titles and scripts, focusing on hiphop lifestyle, suspense, comedy & more.....

  Kween E is determined to make her mark in this industry, and after battling several obstacles in her life (including homelessness & a mental diagnosis) that nearly caused her to give up; however she knew that it was divine order that she persavered. Thus being introduced to the NEW organization/movement; S.C.O.H.H (senior citizens of hip hop), focusing on the older generation, commonly 40 n upwards, still in the game rather big name, etc..... Kween E knew at that point that this was her calling and part of her purpose! To date she has released singles like; I Victory (in honor of Nipsey Hussle), All Day, Uncle Marvin, Aliyoop, and more. It was when she recorded Uncle Marvin-confronting the family member that took her innocence and confidence, that she decided she would shed the fear and lack of confidence, thus continuing to strive in this arena....

With Madd Luvv being the next project in the works for the Kween, she looks back at where she has come from, smiles, nods her head, and continues to rise to power...
